Services Overview
System Design: Designing customized HVAC and energy systems, including feasibility studies, conceptual designs, and standards development. Project Highlights: Developed air-management and cooling solutions for the next Supercomputer Center at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL), and provided Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modeling and analysis of the first U.S. pre-qualified platinum LEED data center for Advanced Data Centers (ADC).
Telecom
System Review: Identifying shortcomings in HVAC and energy systems, including environmental and energy audits, third-party design reviews, and standards and code compliance. Project Highlights: Lead for developing the Department of Energy (DOE) Data Center Certified Energy Practitioner (DC-CEP) Program, and developing components of the DOE Data Center Energy Assessment Program including the "DC Pro" software tool suite.
Data Centers
Event Analyses: Analyzing historic indoor environmental events, including environmental and disaster recovery, insurance claims/loss reviews, and expert witnesses. Project Highlight: Provided advanced environmental modeling to fend off a $50M electronic equipment insurance claim.
